The ending of this book (Ice like Fire) was gut stabbing and exactly what I’d hoped for. I did really love Ceridwen, she basically saved the rest of the book and I also read the short story Flames like Vines on Wattpad, which I would recommend to everyone. The rest was great, especially the twists were epic, but there were pieces I absolutely did not like. I also really DID not like Mather or Theron for that matter, in this book. They were slow, a little boring and not fun to read. I gave it 4,5 out of 5 stars, some pieces were a bit, how do you say it in German, langweilig. The world is fantastic and I could die over the most awesome quotes in this book. CAN I JUST SAY THAT MATHER’S ADORABLE? Because he is. Meira was rather stubborn, and she came across as a simple human and you could relate to her at times.
I really liked the world the story was set in, I loved the main characters, yes you too, Theron, and well, this book was bloody brilliant. I gave it five out of five stars, because it totally deserved it.
Today I’m going to talk about the Snow like Ashes trilogy by Sara Raasch, I recently finished Frost like Night and since I’ve been basically reviewing every trilogy I’ve read (not entirely true.) I thought I should review this awesome kick ass trilogy as well.Ĭan we just take a moment to appreciate these covers, cuz holy schnitzel, they are stunning.
